Colostrum meter | Refractometer

€16900

Price (excluding VAT)

Description

Digital refractometer 0-85% (Measuring colostrum quality).

This digital refractometer has specifications that are not inferior to many
laboratory models. The analysis results appear after just a few seconds on
the display. Temperature compensation takes place over a wide range.
Manual temperature correction, or an external water bath for
temperature control is unnecessary because both the ambient temperature and the
sample temperature is measured. The titanium sample holder is mounted in a
housing made of chemically resistant plastic. Calibration is automatic
equipped with water. The instrument switches itself off so that the lifespan
of the batteries is extended.
Measuring range: 0-85% brix.

Measuring colostrum quality
A good start for the newborn calf depends on the quality of the
first colostrum. The colostrum meter is an excellent tool to measure the density and thus
to determine the quality of the colostrum.

Key features include:
Two-level LCD
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC)
Easy installation and storage
Battery Operation with Low Power Indicator (BEPS)
Automatically turns off after 3 minutes of non-use.

You measure the percentage of Brix and from this the amount of Immunoglobulin G (iGg) can be read.
