The Farmer ABN30 is an all-round energizer from Horizont and very suitable for fencing cows or horses, for example. It is a powerful device for up to 3.8km. 

Current
Because the device is suitable for 9V, 12V and 230V, the Farmer ABN30 can be used flexibly. The device has deep discharge protection for the 12V battery.at Every impulse output from the device, the light on the on/off switch on the front lights up. This allows you to easily observe the activity of the device. The color with which this light lights up indicates the battery capacity in 3 levels:

• Green: 40-100%
• Red/green: 20-40%
• Red: 0-20%

Optimize energy consumption with the 5W solar panel (item 14499) and extend the battery life or charge the battery effortlessly.

ECO power
The device is equipped with a fully automatic economy circuit: the power consumption is adapted to the condition of the fence. In short, if the fence is properly installed and insulated, power consumption will be minimal.

Grounding
Good earthing is essential for an optimally functioning electric fence. Must be on an earth rod at preferably no tension. For the farmer ABN30 we recommend at least 1 earth stake of 100cm (item no. 014041)
