Energy has been added in the form of grape sugar. Sodium bicarbonate counteracts acidification and the electrolytes replenish the resulting electrolyte deficiency. Yeast cell walls (MOS) have a prebiotic effect and promote health, among other things, by stimulating the production of antibodies. It also binds to pathogenic bacteria including E-coli and Salmonella (Heinrichs, Jones & Heinrichs, 2003). Linseed, among other things, places a protective layer on the intestinal wall. Oregano is able to bind to pathogenic bacteria and eliminate them by attacking their cell walls. The added vitamins promote and support the animal's resistance and health.
