The Farmer ABN30 is an all-round electric fence unit by Horizont and very suitable for fencing off cattle or horses, for example. It is a powerful unit for a maximum of 3.8km.

Power
Because the unit is compatible with 9V, 12V and 230V, the Farmer ABN30 is flexible in its application. The unit features a deep discharge protection for the 12V battery. With each impulse output from the unit, the indicator light on the on/off switch at the front lights up. This allows you to easily monitor the activity of the unit. The colour in which this light illuminates indicates the battery capacity at 3 levels:

• Green: 40-100%
• Red/green: 20-40%
• Red: 0-20%

Optimise energy consumption with the 5W solar panel (article 14499) and extend battery life or charge the battery effortlessly.

ECO power
The unit is equipped with a fully automatic power-saving circuit: power consumption is adjusted to the condition of the fence. In short, if the fence is properly installed and insulated, power consumption will be minimal.

Earthing
A good earth connection is essential for an optimally functioning electric fence. An earth stake should preferably carry no voltage. For the Farmer ABN30 we recommend at least 1 earth stake of 100cm (art. no. 014041).
