Automatic rat and mouse trap for controlling pests without the use of poison. Rats and mice are lured into the trap where they activate a trigger. Under pressure from the CO2 cartridge, a steel plunger fires, resulting in immediate (humane) death. Killed animals are (usually) taken away by foxes, cats, birds of prey, etc., so that no suspicion arises among the pests. Light
and scent stimulate the natural behaviour of mice and rats to investigate the trap.
The transparent top that lets light into the trap together with
a ventilation cap ensures that the scent of the attractant penetrates far into
the surroundings. This promotes the urge to go exploring. Built-in
NFC technology, Bluetooth, data collection via an app. The Near Field
Communication counter (NFC) is read by a smartphone (iOS or
Android). The counter counts and registers the number of catches, the date and time.

Bait
The bait unit can easily be filled
with bait of your choice and is refillable. The bait can be
adapted to the natural food sources of mice and rats in
the area, or a wide selection of ready-to-use monitoring products.

The SafeTrap Automatic 25 Starter
Kit consists of the following components:

- The STA 25 device
- Equipped with Bluetooth
- NFC counter - a counter that registers the
number of shots, the date and the time, read by a smartphone
(iOS or Android).
- Safety Shield protective cover -
shields the device from unwanted access (e.g. by children or
pets).
- Transparent bait depot for
optional scented bait blocks.
- One CO2 cartridge (approx. 25
shots)
- User manual is
included (multiple languages including English). In addition, you will find
a quick guide on the inside of the box.

- The STA-25 trap is not connected
to the internet, but instead has an NFC scanner. So when you
return to the STA-25, for example after 30 days, you open the app and scan the
NFC scanner, and you can see how many catches/kills have been made since the
last time you serviced and scanned the STA-25.
- The app tells you the exact date and time at which
it made a kill. You can also see when you last changed the bait,
whether the collection cup needs to be replaced, etc.
