The VENTED principle in Liners improves air supply, allowing the milk to flow faster and more smoothly. This reduces re-spray, keeps the Teats drier, and decreases the risk of bacterial infections. The cell count is thereby reduced, while an even vacuum distribution gently massages the Teat and can reduce teat callus formation.
Rubber or silicone? Choose the right liner
The right material makes a big difference in milking speed and reliability.
Rubber
Rubber Liners initially provide a higher milking speed, but this decreases as they age due to deformation. Rubber can also weather, crack, and tear, limiting their lifespan to about 2,500 milking sessions.
Silicone
Silicone Liners do not deform and maintain a high, consistent milking speed throughout their long lifespan of 10,000 milking sessions. They are more hygienic, and work reliably during attachment and detachment.

VENTED Liners
Teat ventilation: the small intervention with a big effect
In the 1970s, a smart solution was found for the persistent respray effect: teat ventilation. A tiny air hole that not only reduces the vacuum but also speeds up the milk flow and prevents backflow. However, this technique has its points of attention - from maintenance to foam formation with triangular Liners. Newer alternatives offer the same efficiency without those drawbacks.
