With the other hand, the ergonomic 4 liter milk bottle can be held up to allow the colostrum or electrolytes to flow into the tube and safely into the calf's stomach. Hold both the mouthpiece and chin with one hand to easily guide the tube. 2) Slide the flexible probe through the mouthpiece so that it is inserted securely into the esophagus. 3) Raise the bottle to start the liquid flowing. Make sure that the calf's head and neck remain above the stomach. Be sure that the tube does not come out of the esophagus when fluid is introduced.
