The Farmer ABN30 is an all-round electric fence device from Horizont, very suitable for fencing livestock such as cows or horses. It is a powerful device for up to 3.8 km.

Power
Since the device is suitable for 9V, 12V, and 230V, the Farmer ABN30 is flexibly deployable. The device features a deep discharge protection for the 12V battery. With every impulse from the device, the light on the on/off switch on the front lights up. This allows you to easily observe the device's activity. The color of this light indicates the battery capacity in 3 levels:

• Green: 40-100%
• Red/green: 20-40%
• Red: 0-20%

Optimize energy consumption with the 5W solar panel (article 14499) and extend the battery life or recharge the battery effortlessly.

ECO power
The device is equipped with a fully automatic energy-saving circuit: the power consumption is adjusted to the condition of the fence. In short, if the fence is well installed and insulated, the power consumption will be minimal.

Grounding
Essential for an optimally functioning electric fence is good grounding. Preferably, there should be no voltage on a grounding rod. For the Farmer ABN30, we recommend at least 1 grounding rod of 100 cm (art.nr. 014041)
