HotSHOCK N500 (6.0 Joule)

The Hotshock® N500 is an electric fence energiser from the professional series by Horizont. It is a very powerful unit, specially developed for less sensitive animals such as sheep, wolves, poultry and for wildlife management.

The Hotshock® N500 features 2 different connections for output voltages; this allows you to choose the maximum power for large pastures, but it can also be switched to lower voltage (up to 1J) for smaller pastures or more sensitive animals.

Impulse Control

As an additional safeguard, the Hotshock N500 is equipped with a display featuring "Impulse Control" — this indicator light clearly illuminates as soon as the voltage level on the fence drops below the threshold value.

Earthing

A good earth connection is essential for an optimally functioning electric fence. An earth stake should preferably carry no voltage. For the Hotshock N500 we recommend a minimum of 5 earth stakes of 150cm.
