Prevent problems and ensure that maggots do not become flies. Maggots and flies can cause nuisance and problems for your livestock. Maggots sometimes tend to nest on a soiled rear of a calf/sheep. To feed themselves, they start eating the animal and sometimes even go under the skin. This increases the risk of your animal getting Myiasis (skin maggot disease). Maggots develop into flies that can transmit other diseases. To prevent this, it is necessary to control these pests. A powerful agent that can be used to combat maggots is Neporex. This agent prevents the production of Chitin. Maggots need this to molt, which they normally do 3 times. Neporex disrupts this molting process and ensures that the larva (maggot) is killed. Since a larva molts 3 times before it becomes an adult fly, you have 3 chances to combat the maggots! This makes Neporex a very effective agent.

Usage: Neporex can be used for various types of livestock, including: chickens, turkeys, broilers, rabbits, pigs, dairy cattle, calves, and beef cattle. This agent can be applied in 3 different ways. You can sprinkle it in the (straw) pen, pour or spray it on fly breeding grounds. Places where flies prefer to sit are areas with sufficient moisture, food, and warmth. These are places like manure, wet spots under a water dish, and areas with waste.

Dosages

Below are the dosages per application:

Sprinkling: 500 grams per 20 m²
Pouring: 500 grams per 20 liters of water per 20 m²
Spraying: 500 grams per 2 to 8 liters of water per 20 m²
Repeat these dosages every 6 to 8 weeks, or after you have cleaned out a pen or single box.
