Ranger® ABN60 (0.6 Joule)

The Ranger® ABN60 is an electric fence energiser from the professional series by Horizont. It is a powerful unit for up to 4.5km, which can also deliver sufficient voltage in dry conditions. Highly suitable for fencing of, for example, cows or horses.

Power
Because the unit is compatible with 9V, 12V and 230V, the Ranger ABN60 is flexibly deployable. The unit features a deep discharge protection for the 12V battery. With each impulse output of the unit, the indicator light on the on/off switch at the front lights up. This allows you to easily monitor the activity of the unit. The colour in which this light illuminates indicates the battery capacity at 3 levels:

• Green: 40-100%
• Red/green: 20-40%
• Red: 0-20%

ECO power
The unit is equipped with a fully automatic power-saving circuit: power consumption is adjusted to the condition of the fence. In short, if the fence is properly installed and insulated, power consumption will be minimal.

Earthing

A good earth connection is essential for an optimally functioning electric fence. An earth stake should preferably carry no voltage. For the Ranger ABN60 we recommend a minimum of 1 earth stake of 100cm (art.no. 014041)
