• The first adult robber flies emerge from the tube 2-5 days after receipt. They are immediately ready to lay eggs. They do this on the manure. The larvae of the robber flies feed on the larvae of the unwanted flies. This way, there are fewer and fewer stable flies. After about a week, the larvae of the robber fly pupate and new adult robber flies emerge. The robber flies are active in dark places and do not cause any nuisance to humans or animals.
• To achieve results, it is advisable to distribute the first deliveries shortly after each other. After 6 to 8 weeks, the population of robber flies and robber fly larvae in the manure will have grown so much that only a few stable fly larvae will reach their adult stage.
• The advice is to use the tubes as follows in the starting year: Period: from March to September.
• Schedule: 3 times every 14 days, then every 4 weeks, then every 13 weeks.
• In subsequent years, betting once every 13 weeks is sufficient.
