Rumen bolus is aimed at stimulating rumen function (rumen microbes) and rumination activity. at rumination activity, saliva enters the rumen. Saliva is rich in bicarbonate, which buffers the acidity (pH) of the rumen and thus counteracts rumen acidification. Dosage
