Topro Phosphorus bolus Topro Phosphorus bolus is a mineral diet feed for dairy cows to reduce the risk of milk fever. A mineral imbalance often occurs around calving. A calcium deficiency (milk fever) is the best known. An additional symptom can be a phosphorus deficiency. This deficiency can lead to Downer syndrome. This condition manifests itself in the animal being unable to stand upright. In contrast to milk fever, the temperature, heart rate and breathing are normal. In order to support the phosphorus and calcium balance, the Topro Phosphorus bolus developed.Dosage
2 buns at the first signs of calving
2 boluses immediately after calving
Dosage after calcium infusion
2 boluses as soon as the cow gets up again
2 boluses 10 – 12 hours later

Administer with a suitable Bolus application gun
It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian or nutritionist before use regarding:
1. the balance of trace elements in the daily ration 2. the status of the herd with regard to trace elements
To increase density, the bolus contains 16% inert iron, where applicable
Where applicable, simultaneous administration of additives from other sources for which a maximum level has been established with those of a bolus should be avoided
