StayGreen Fly Bucket complete with attractant

The StayGreen Fly Bucket has a capture capacity of approximately 12,000 flies. This is a 100% biological/ecological method. The idea of the trap is to effectively capture the intensity of flies of various species that spread dangerous diseases and irritate both humans and animals on farms (horses, cows, pigs) without the use of aggressive chemicals. The attractant is based solely on natural food ingredients, making the bait harmless and 100% biodegradable. The trap works excellently where these insects multiply and are least welcome: gardens, around the barn, stables, poultry houses, dumping sites, near the shed, horse paddocks, pastures, campsites, etc.

Contents = 3.55l with scale markings: water level and number of captured insects.

Do not empty or rinse out, but when the water has evaporated and the water level is close to the lower red line, top up with 300ml of water to the green line.

The captured flies can be used as compost (buried in soil).

The trap reaches its full activity at the first application after 3-4 days, subsequent applications after approximately 1 day due to the accelerated fermentation process caused by residues left over from the last application and fermentation bacteria that have already formed.

Dosage: First filling: - Add 1.7 litres of lukewarm water (to better dissolve the bait and speed up the fermentation process). The amount of water is indicated by the red scale line marked FIRST FILLING - Close the bucket securely with the lid without mesh and stir gently to better dissolve the bait. - Remove the cover and replace it with a cover fitted with mesh. Stretch the mesh straight into a cone shape and check the passage of the tunnel. - Place 4 black elements crosswise opposite each other at equal distances on the lid. Start where the red handle meets the bucket, which indicates the centre of the bucket. - Close the trap with a fully yellow lid, lean and click it onto the 4 black spacers attached to the bottom lid, creating 4 fly entrances to the trap and a roof that protects against rain. - Hang the trap outside at a height of 1.5-2 metres in partial shade, e.g. under a tree. - Use the trap approximately 15 metres from a residential building due to the rather intense odour after activation. - When the water has evaporated and the water level approaches the lower red line marked ADD 300ML WATER, add the indicated amount of water (via the lower mesh cover without removing it) marked with the green line +300ML WATER. - Monitoring of captured insects can be carried out using a black scale placed on the bucket; insects are counted from the bottom of the trap.
