Immediately after birth, the umbilical cord is in an open connection with the outside world. The ideal opportunity for germs to enter the body of the vulnerable piglet, calf or lamb. The faster the umbilical cord dries, the smaller the chance of infections. UmbiSpray ensures that the umbilical cord has almost dried after 4 hours. This is 30 to 50% faster compared to treatment with iodine.
