Deze vorstbeschermende verwarmingskabel voorkomt het bevriezen van waterleidingen bij vorst. Ideaal voor gebruik in kippenhokken, veestallen, veeschuren, paardenstallen etc.
De thermokabel wordt eenvoudig rond de waterleiding gedraaid en door de warmteafgifte van de kabel voorkomt dit bevriezing van de waterleidingen.
De thermostaat met sensorcontact moet vast tegen de buisleiding aangelegd worden en met isolatietape VORST050 omwikkeld worden.
De ingebouwde thermostaat schakelt de kabel automatisch en zelfstandig in bij + 3 graden Celcius, zodra de waterleiding dreigt te bevriezen.
In combinatie met de isolatie zorgt de kabel voor een betrouwbare vorstbescherming tot maximaal -45 graden Celcius.
