at the heatable version, model 500/520 is equipped with an additional heater (24 V, 80 W). The heating element is attached to the bottom of the drinking trough. In order to keep the water supply frost-free, it is wrapped with a thermal cable (20 W, 2 m, art. no. 101.0861 or 30 W, 3 m, art. no. 101.1863), and connected parallel to the additional heater to the transformer. The thermal cable and the water pipe must be additionally insulated and protected against biting. The power supply is via a transformer (24 V). The transformer can be switched on and off with an external thermostat (art. no. 101.0389).
For model 500: heating element model 523 (art. no. 131.0523), 24 V, 80 W, for keeping the water in the drinking bowl frost-free
For model 520: heating element model 524 (art. no. 131.0524) Installation of 1 or 2 heating elements possible. Heating element with a 24 V, 80 W spiral, to keep the water in the double drinking bowl frost-free.
