Sodium phosphate 4 pieces Prevent a phosphorus deficiency The P-PILL is a phosphorus pill of monosodium phosphate for cows that cannot stand up around calving due to phosphorus deficiency. A cow with a phosphorus deficiency resembles a cow with milk fever, however, the cow is not cold, is alert, and does not respond to a calcium magnesium infusion. Urinating (brown) blood after calving may also relate to a low phosphorus level. The P-PILL can possibly be directly combined with the administration of a calcium infusion. The phosphorus level in the blood will start to rise from 3 hours after administration, so there is minimal risk of binding with the calcium infusion. The phosphorus level will increase up to 24 hours after administration. Dosage: 2 boluses when needed Administration: Oral, in the mouth. Packaging unit: 4 boluses
