Block Bond Hoof Adhesive SEMI-FAST: the new generation of hoof block adhesive

Block Bond is the newest generation of 2-component PU hoof block adhesive. For a fast and rock-solid attachment of hoof blocks to the bovine claw.

• Fully load-bearing after a minimum of 90 seconds
• Optimal storage temperature: between 0°C and 23°C
• Application temperature: between 0°C and 30°C;

Instructions for use:

1. Place the cartridge in the dispensing gun (Art. 527873 or Art. 527874)
2. Turn the locking ring of the cartridge and remove the sealing cap
3. Press out a bit of adhesive from the cartridge, until adhesive comes out of both components (leveling)
4. Place the mixing tip (Art. 527871) on the cartridge and put the ring back to secure the mixing tip and tighten it
5. Apply the adhesive to the dry block or hoof.
6. Note: make sure the adhesive is not applied on top of itself
7. Press the block firmly into place (optimal adhesive layer thickness: 3mm between block and hoof). Steps 5 and 6 must take place within 10 to max. 14 seconds
8. Then do not touch it anymore. After 90 seconds the adhesive has fully cured

Dry, but not hot!

A heat gun can reach temperatures of hundreds of degrees, but for Block Bond a maximum of 60°C applies.

Higher temperatures can reduce adhesion.
