The DairyJet is a smart, user-friendly tool for cleaning teats before milking. Through this contactless cleaning, it reduces the risk of bacterial infections, such as mastitis. This contributes to healthier cows, less dropout and consistent milk quality – without extra work.

Mastitis is common on dairy farms and affects both animal health and profitability. In many cases, environmental bacteria are the cause. The DairyJet helps reduce this risk by cleaning teats quickly and hygienically with a powerful, targeted water jet.

How does it work?

The DairyJet is easy to install on the mouth of a standard udder shower (e.g. from Gilmour) and fits most common spray nozzles. Attachment is done via the existing rubber cap closure of the spray nozzle.

TIP: Also suitable for treating cows when using a milking robot.

Working instructions:

• Remove the standard rubber cap from the udder shower.
• Push it firmly into the DairyJet until it is secure.
• Screw the entire unit tightly onto the spray nozzle.
• Check that the jet only comes from the front of the DairyJet.
• Set the water pressure to 3–4 bar for optimal results.

Pre-dip/foam before putting your DairyJet on. After the DairyJet, let it drain briefly while you clean other cows with the DairyJet. Teats do not need to be dried before connecting the milking system

The DairyJet is the most affordable product currently available on the market, both in terms of purchase price and operating costs. The product works best in combination with a pre-treatment of your choice. This pre-treatment disinfects the teats. The DairyJet simply rinses away dirt and soap residues with water, preventing cross-contamination. The DairyJet works best at a water pressure of 3-4 bar. Most people use a separate booster pump or already have their pipeline system at high pressure. Adding disinfectant to the water is not necessary. In winter, it is beneficial to increase the water temperature, both for the cow and for the user, for example by reusing water from the pre-cooler.
