Description

Digital refractometer 0-85% (Measuring colostrum quality).

This digital refractometer has specifications that are not inferior to many
laboratory models. The analysis results appear after just a few seconds
the screen. Temperature compensation takes place over a wide range.
Manual temperature correction, or an external water bath for that
temperature control is unnecessary because both the ambient temperature and the
sample temperature is measured. The titanium sample holder is contained in a
housing made of chemically resistant plastic. Calibration becomes automatic
performed with water. The instrument switches itself off to extend its lifespan
of the batteries is extended.
Measuring range: 0-85% brix.

Measuring colostrum quality
A good start for the newborn calf depends on the quality of the food
first colostrum. The colostrum meter is an excellent means of measuring density and thus
to determine the quality of the colostrum.

Main features are:
Two level LCD
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC)
Easy installation and storage
Battery operation with low power indicator (BEPS)
Automatically turns off after 3 minutes of non-use.

You measure the Brix percentage and based on this you can read the amount of Immunoglobin G (iGg).
